No need to leave for Delhi as Thailand to invest Rs 5000 crore in SIDCUL Uttarakhand

The efforts of the Central Government for boosting development and business in the state has been fruitful as Thailand has agreed to invest Rs 5000 crore in Uttarakhand, which is a major step towards curbing migration and for generating new job opportunities for the locals. After getting a positive response from the Central Government, CM Trivendra Rawat called a meeting with the three assembly representatives from Thailand who did a survey at Pantnagar SIDCUL, where they will be investing Rs 5000 crores.

Initially, 4 well renowned multinational companies based in Thailand will establish their firm here, which will offer employment to more than 50,000 youth of Uttarakhand. But the major concern is whether the locals will benefit from it or not as prior to this many deals were finalised which didn’t work out well for the locals as the jobs were snatched away by those hailing from other states.
