PM to visit Dehradun for Combined Commanders Conference at IMA

Prime Minister, Narendra Modi to visit Dehradun on Jan 21 to be a part of the Combined Commanders Conference at IMA

On Tuesday, Chief Secretary S Ramaswamy conducted a meeting at Sachivalay for discussing the details regarding the PM’s visit. During this meeting, the Chief Secretary gave instructions to the officers for the full proof arrangement of security, transportation, electricity and water. Ramaswamy told that the PM’s stay at IMA will be from 9:30 am till 3:30 pm. The Chief Secretary, Governor and DGP will be present at the Jolly Grant airport to welcome the Prime Minister. While, the Commissioner, DIG Garhwal, DM and SSP Dehradun will receive the PM at IMA. The Jolly Grant airport will be well equipped with specialized doctors, life-saving medicines and ambulance.

SSP Sweety Aggarwal visited IMA to have a discussion with the army officers regarding the Prime Minister’s visit

A spot inspection was done by Sweety Aggarwal for the security, traffic and another system at IMA. The SSP told, the IMA route will be diverted for an hour during the conference. The final decision regarding this matter will be taken on Wednesday when the SPG team will arrive. The routes that are diverted during the Passing Out Parade (POP) will also be considered. Every minute detail of the IMA’s entry gate, staff, and canteen will be collected on Tuesday. SSP gave special instructions to Premnagar and Cantt Police for inspecting the nearby areas and keeping an eye on the suspicious people. LIU and other secret agencies are also asked to produce an updated report regarding the PM’s programme. In the conference, the SSP told that the forces deployed near IMA will also be briefed soon.
