PM Modi to address Yoga envoys on March 2 for International Yoga Festival

To welcome the yoga delegates of the 29th edition of the International Yoga Festival to be held at Parmarth Niketan Ashram in Swargashram, Rishikesh PM Narendra Modi will conduct a video conferencing. The Yoga fest will be jointly organized by the Ministry of AYUSH, Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board, Government of Uttarakhand, Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam and Parmarth Niketan Ashram. Several known yoga experts, practitioners and gurus from across the world will be a part of this festival starting from March 1-7.

Sadhvi Bhagwati of Parmarth Niketan Ashram said that a Prime Minister Office communique has revealed that Modi will address the participants through video conferencing at 12:30 pm on March 2. The Yoga festival will be inaugurated by Uttarakhand Governor Dr. Krishan Kant Paul on March 1 at the Yoga Ghat of Parmarth Niketan Ashram.

Several renowned Yoga gurus like Shankaracharya Divyanand Teerth Maharaj of Bhanpura Peeth, Mahamandaleshwar Swami Asanganand Saraswati, Yoga Guru Swami Ramdev, Acharya Balkrishan, Swami Chidanand Muni Saraswati, Dr Pranav Pandya, Mooji Baba, Prem Baba, Vedn Drikunj Kyabgon Chetsang Rinpocheji, Ven Bhikkhu Sanghasenaji, Sadhvi Abha Saraswati, Mahant Durga Das, Suryendu Purji and Mahamandaleshwar Swami Kailashannad Maharaj will take part in the International Yoga Festival held at Rishikesh.
