Prime Minister Narendra Modi will give one final push to BJP by addressing four rallies in Uttarakhand, where assembly elections are scheduled to take place on February 15. It will be BJP’s one final appeal to the voters ahead of the upcoming 2017 Uttarakhand polls. BJP has already announced their manifesto for the elections and top brass BJP politicians have descended to Devbhoomi to campaign for the lotus party.

BJP’s one last roll of dice before elections

The Uttarakhand media in-charge Devendra Bhasin clarifies that the honorable prime minister will address his first public rally in Haridwar on February 10. After the rally in plains, PM Modi will travel to the hilly terrain of Pithoragarh on February 11 to address his second rally. Third and fourth rally will take place in Srinagar in the Pauri district and Rudrapur respectively on February 12.

Whereas top BJP politicians such as Finance minister Arun Jaitley, Home minister Rajnath Singh and other Union ministers have already addressed public in different parts of the state to garner support for the party, Congress party’s eminent politicians such as party leader Sonia Gandhi is yet to address public in Uttarakhand. Although, if sources are to be believed, the Congress leader is expected to campaign in Uttarakhand in coming days.
