Oath-taking Ceremony of Uttarakhand CM to be held on March 18 at Parade Ground

The BJP government to come in power in Uttarakhand will have its oath-taking ceremony tomorrow which will raise the curtain from the long-held secret of who will be the new CM of Uttarakhand. To mark this ceremony PM Narendra Modi along with BJP President Amit Shah and other honourable party members will be present. All the preparations regarding the event are being concluded at Parade Ground in Dehradun. To ensure the safety of PM, the SSP has been deployed at Dehradun and is inspecting the place with his force.

About the Oath-taking Ceremony of Uttarakhand CM

According to some trusted sources, the details regarding PM’s arrival in Dehradun hasn’t been shared yet but it is said that the PM’s will make his sojourn from his charter plane that will land at Jolly Grant airport. From here a helicopter will swiftly pick him from JTC Helipad and will flyover Dilaram Chowk to Rajpur road, heading towards Parade Ground. All the BJP legislators are requested to stay in Dehradun till the wrapping of the swearing ceremony i.e. from 17-18 March. The oath-taking ceremony will begin in the afternoon at 3 pm on Saturday and it is likely that around 50,000 people will surge at the Parade Ground.

The name of the new Uttarakhand CM will be disclosed today

BJP hasn’t unveiled the name of the new Uttarakhand CM and media as well as people are speculating that the three dominant contestants to bag the seat of CM are Satpal Maharaj who joined the party in 2014 from Congress, Union Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat and Prakash Pant MLA from Pithoragarh. Many supporters were seen thronging the abode of Trivendra Rawat and Parkash Pant to show their love and support. On the other hand, the supporters of Satpal Maharaj are also confident that he will be crowned as the new CM of Uttarakhand.
