After noticing few issues, the Badri Kedar Temple Committee has come to this conclusion that tickets will be charged according to the number of family members. The decision will come into force from this pilgrim season. The Badrinath and Kedarnath temple holds special prayers at the sanctum sanatorium of the temple which turns out to be propitious if attended by the whole family. For these pooja artis, the packages were availed by the devotees from many years but now the Badri-Kedar Committee has decided to say goodbye to these packages.

The problems related to the Package System

There is only a fixed place to accommodate the devotees of the Badrinath and Kedarnath temple. The sanctum sanatorium of the Badrinath Temple can only accommodate 30 devotees while the Kedarnath temple can accommodate around 16 devotees. The cons of the package system were that sometimes due to the large number of family members; few were stopped from attending the special pooja because of the lack of space. Due to which the Temple committee and the family members faced several issues.
