Dehradun: Govt. to build Sri Dev Suman University campus worth 38 crore!

Home to some of the finest schools and colleges in India, Dehradun is set to have another feather in its cap with the construction of  Sri Dev Suman University campus worth 38.16 crores in Selaqui, Dehradun. The Uttarakhand government has directed the university administration to create a DPR (detailed project report) regarding the construction of the university campus and submit the report by April 17. In the first phase of the project, the government has approved construction of 11 departments in the campus.

The government approved the construction of university campus in the year 2013 and around 2 acre of land was purchased from the silk department in 2015. The government is expected to arrange additional 5 acre of land for the expansion of the campus in near future. The Sri Dev Suman university administration was issued 1 crore 96 lakh worth of token money for the surfacing of the land and topographical inspection.
