No money? No problem! Check out India’s first hiking hostel in Jeolikot, Uttarakhand

We all love to travel, but many of us have to check our finances to see if we could accommodate travel expenses in our budget. That has been taken care by India’s first hiking hostel set up amidst in the lush greenery in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand. For travelers on a shoestring budget, Heart of Travellers (stylized as HOTs) Hostel and Suites offer beautiful accommodation at affordable rates. Tucked away in the lap of nature, HOTs hostel is the brainchild of two duo – Harshit Kandpal and Devendra Digari – who wanted to start something affordable for young backpackers.

HOTs Hostel is located in Patwa Dunga region, near Jeolikot near Nainital with scenic views. The trekking hostel offers great opportunity to explore the wilderness with like-minded people. Situated quite close to Nainital, backpackers at HOTs hostel can also visit Naukuchiatal for paragliding experience or visit the popular Haidakhan Babaji temple in Ranikhet. Travellers are required to trek less than a kilometer amidst the verdant forest to reach the place.
