The renowned Indian businessman Mukesh Ambani who garners great faith in Badri-Kedar has decided to decorate Kedarnath-Badrinath Dham, along with providing other tourist facilities. To make this happen, Mukhesh Ambani has proposed this plan to Badrinth Kedarnath Temple Committee, hoping that in the coming years the tourists will be blessed with better services during their spiritual sojourn.

Over the last four decades, Mukesh Ambani the Chair Person of Reliance Group is constantly visiting Badrinath and Kedarnath Dham and has decided to beautify the temple sites. During his last visit on May 14, Mukesh told the Chief Officer of BKTC that he will assist in decorating the two holy places.

Sources suggest that in the coming Yatra season, right from the opening to the closing of the portals Mukesh Ambani will take care of the temple décor, puja items, sandalwood, saffron, maha abhishek and bhog items. Apart from this, he will also build guest houses and dharamshalas for accommodating the officers on duty and other security officials deployed at both the Dhams.

The Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee may ask for making dharamshala, distributing counters for prasad and sandalwood teeka. It is realized that this year, Mukesh Ambani gave Rs 60 lakh for sandalwood and saffron. After the 2013 floods, Mukesh Ambani has been lending his support to the Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee so it doesn’t hinder the worship of the lord.
